UNDP Pakistan Resident Representative Dr. Samuel Rizk and Deputy Resident Representative Van Nguyen met with Pir Mujeeb ul Haq, Convenor of the Sindh SDGs Task Force, to discuss strengthening parliamentary leadership for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Sindh.

The meeting focused on institutionalizing the Sindh SDGs Task Force Secretariat, enhancing legislative oversight, and strengthening the capacity of parliamentarians to effectively champion the SDGs. The discussion also emphasized closer collaboration between Parliament, the Government of Sindh, and development partners to accelerate evidence-based policymaking and SDG implementation.

The engagement reaffirmed a shared commitment to building stronger institutions and partnerships that support inclusive, accountable, and sustainable development across Sindh.
