Celebrating International Family Day at Sirat-ul-Jannah Orphanage


On May 20th, a remarkable event occurred at Sirat-ul-Jannah Orphanage, in partnership with UNDP SDGs Unit and McDonald’s. This event aimed to celebrate International Family Day, promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering a sense of community and togetherness among the children. The day was filled with exciting activities, delicious food, and opportunities for learning and creativity.

SDGs Introduction and Children’s Coloring Book Activity:

The event began with the UNDP SDGs Unit introducing the children to the important global goals. Through an engaging presentation, the children learned about the SDGs and their significance in creating a better world for all. Following the introduction, the children were provided with a coloring book activity to express their creativity while reinforcing their understanding of the goals. It was inspiring to witness the children’s enthusiasm as they colored their way to a more sustainable future.

SDGs Art Activity:

The quiz not only encouraged them to deepen their understanding of the SDGs but also rewarded their efforts to engage with the global agenda.
