Sindh’s Rangelands and Biodiversity Parks Policy (SRBDPP) – A joint venture of Sindh Forest and Wildlife Department (SFWLD), SDGs Support Unit, UNDP and Planning & Development Department, Government of Sindh

Stakeholders’ consultations were held in Umerkot and Nagarparkar on 4 and 6 February 2026 to inform Sindh’s Rangelands and Biodiversity Parks Policy (SRBDPP). Purpose of the consultations was to present and discuss the draft outlines of the SRBDPP and its corresponding strategy, along with the literature review report that will inform the policy document.

Deputy and Assistant Commissioners from the local administrations, Director Generals of Livestock, Senior Officers of the Forests and Wildlife Departments, NGOs, civil society organizations, local communities, and academia took active part in the discussions.
