The Sindh SDGs Support Unit, representing UNDP Pakistan, participated in the UN Day Celebration 2025 held at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi on 24 October 2025, under the theme “United for Peace, People, and Planet.”

The Unit set up a vibrant and engaging stall that showcased UNDP’s work in youth empowerment, climate action, and sustainable development across Sindh. The booth drew remarkable attention and enthusiasm throughout the day, with students, faculty, and visitors actively engaging in discussions about UNDP’s initiatives and impact in the province.

Distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Tufail (Vice Chancellor, NED University), Prof. Dr. Norman Ahmed (NED Coordinator), and Ms. Hilday Verse Merge (Co-Chairperson, PPT), who highlighted the significance of UN Day and shared insights on the future of UN interventions in Sindh.

From tree plantation activities to interactive exchanges with UN representatives and a collective pledge for peace and sustainability, the event was a vibrant reminder of how youth engagement continues to shape a better, more inclusive future for all.
